Threskiornithidae: Platalea alba
The African Spoonbill feeds on water animals such as fish and frogs. We saw the bird at Nakuru, but never close enough or in enough light to get a good shot. It is about 90cm in length, including the bill, and eats fish, frogs and other aquatic creatures.
