Baglafecht Weaver

Ploceidae: Ploceus baglafecht

The Baglafecht Weaver is about 14cm in length. It was seen at the lodge in Nakuru. This bird is a female, which is as coloured as the male. The male has less black on the head.

These photographs were taken in the evening with flash. The bird didn't seem to mind.
