Bare-faced Go-away Bird

Musophagidae: Corythaixoides personatus

The bare-faced Go-away Bird (50cm) is a species of Turaco. These mainly eat fruit, flowers and buds, but  also take insects and snails.  It gets its name from its call (Gwaa).

The Bare-faced Go-Away Bird is not widely distributed, but can be seen in the Maasai Mara.
