Common Kestrel aka Eurasian Kestrel
Falconidae: Falco tinnunculus
This falcon is a common visitor from the northern winter. It hunts mainly for small mammals, such as mice, and will also attack small and juvenile birds. It also eats large insects and earthworms.
The Common Kestrel was the only falcon which we saw.
