Marico Sunbird
Nectariniidae: Nectarinia mariquensis (also Cinnyris mariquensis)
The Marico Sunbird is about 13cm. This one was in the lodge garden at Maasai Mara. The blue line below the green head, and the maroon chestband are distinctive. Sunbirds feed on nectar, and sometimes insects.
