Raptors: Eagles, Hawks, Vultures, Secretary Bird and Falcons

Accipitridae, Sagittariidae, Falconidae

As one would expect, the Savannah was home to a large number of raptors. The birds we saw ranged across the different types of raptor in the country. We saw three of the eight vulture species of Kenya, three of the seven Aquila eagles, three other eagles, one buzzard, one hawk, one harrier and one kite, as well as the Secretary bird, and one falcon, the Common Kestrel.
