Slate-coloured Boubou

Malaconotidae: Laniarius funebris

The Slate-coloured Boubou is about 20cm in length, and feeds on insects and seeds on the ground in cover. This picture was taken at the lodge in Maasai Mara.

Identification Note: Only one picture was taken, so the identification is not certain. However, this seems the best fit from among black birds of this size.This could be a Drongo, but the bill shape and eye colour seem wrong.
