Barn Swallow and Mosque Swallow

Hirundinidae: Hirundo rustica (Barn Swallow)

Hirundinidae: Hirundo senegalensis (Mosque Swallow)

Swallows feed on insects in the air. The Barn Swallow is about 18cm long, and is a visitor during the northern winter, while the Mosque Swallow is about  23cm and a resident.
