White Egrets and Black-headed Heron
Ardeidae:
Casmerodius Albus aka Ardea Alba Melanorhyncos (Great Egret)
Egretta garzetta (Little Egret)
Ardea melanocephala (Black-headed Heron)
These two white egrets are common throughout Eurasia. We didn't see any Intermediate Egrets, the other white egret (65cm).
Great Egret, 90cm
Little Egret, 60cm
The Black-headed Heron is the commonest heron in Kenya, and we saw it in both Amboseli and Nakuru. It's about 95cm tall.
