Bushbuck

The Bushbuck weighs up to about 45kg, and likes woodland and bush scrub near water. It does a lot of its browsing at night, and is therefore difficult to see. This animal was hiding in bushes in the Maasai Mara, and refused to come out. There are many sub-species of bushbuck, and so the markings vary a lot. The short, bushy tail and large ears are distinctive.
