Leopard 1/2

Leopards hunt at night, and hide in trees, so they are difficult to find. Perhaps for the same reasons, the Leopard is widespread, and not currently endangered. It is much smaller than the Lion, at 60-90kg. We found one Leopard eating a small Impala or similar antelope in a tree in Maasai Mara. Unfortunately it never descended from the tree.
