Wildebeest, aka Gnu

The migration of the Wildebeest from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) north to the Maasai Mara and back again happens between June and October. At the time we were in the Mara GR, the Wildebeest were in Tanzania. These photos are of non-migratory animals in the Amboseli NP. Wildebeest eat mainly grass, and need water. They weigh up to 250kg.
